4. cookies

We use cookies on our site. These are small files that are automatically created by your browser and stored on your end device (laptop, tablet, smartphone or similar) when you visit our site. Cookies do not cause any damage to your end device and do not contain any viruses, Trojans or other malware.

Information is stored in the cookie that arises in connection with the specific end device used. However, this does not mean that we gain direct knowledge of your identity.

The use of cookies serves, on the one hand, to make the use of our offer more pleasant for you. We use so-called session cookies to recognise that you have already visited individual pages of our website. These are automatically deleted after you leave our site.

In addition, we also use temporary cookies to optimise user-friendliness, which are stored on your end device for a certain fixed period of time. If you visit our site again to use our services, it is automatically recognised that you have already been with us and which entries and settings you have made so that you do not have to enter them again.

On the other hand, we use cookies to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimising our offer for you (see point 5). These cookies enable us to automatically recognise that you have already been to our website when you visit it again. These cookies are automatically deleted after a defined period of time.

The data processed by cookies is necessary for the aforementioned purposes to protect our legitimate interests and those of third parties in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO.

Most browsers accept cookies automatically. However, you can configure your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer or a notice always appears before a new cookie is created. However, the complete deactivation of cookies may mean that you cannot use all the functions of our website.

5. analysis tools

Tracking tools
The tracking measures listed below and used by us are carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. f DSGVO. With the tracking measures used, we want to ensure a needs-based design and the ongoing optimisation of our website. On the other hand, we use the tracking measures to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimising our offer for you. These interests are to be regarded as legitimate within the meaning of the aforementioned provision.
The respective data processing purposes and data categories can be found in the corresponding tracking tools.

Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (https://www.google.de/intl/de/about/) (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; hereinafter "Google"), for the purpose of demand-oriented design and ongoing optimisation of our pages. In this context, pseudonymised usage profiles are created and cookies (see under point 4) are used. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website, such as browser type/version, operating system used, referrer URL (the page previously visited), host name of the accessing computer (IP address), time of server request, is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The information is used to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services associated with the use of the website and the Internet for the purposes of market research and the design of these Internet pages in line with requirements. This information may also be transferred to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on our behalf. Under no circumstances will your IP address be merged with other Google data. The IP addresses are anonymised so that an assignment is not possible (IP masking).

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, or by denying or revoking your consent to their activation in our cookie consent box (see below under "Cookies"); however, please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website.
You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing a browser add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).

Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager on our website. Google Tag Manager is a solution that allows marketers to manage website tags through one interface. The Tag Manager tool itself (which implements the tags) is a cookie-less domain and does not collect any personal data. The tool triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If a deactivation has been made at the domain or cookie level, this remains in place for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager.

6. social media

The content on our pages can be shared in social networks such as Facebook, Google or Youtube in a data protection compliant manner. Direct contact between the networks and users is only established when the user actively clicks on one of these buttons.

There is no automatic transfer of user data to the operators of these platforms. If the user is registered with one of the social networks, an information window appears when sharing links on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube & Co. in which the user can confirm the text before sending it.

Our users can share the content of this page in social networks in a privacy-compliant manner without complete surfing profiles being created by the operators of the networks.

7. integration of third party content

Google Web Fonts
This website uses so-called "Web Fonts" from Google (see above) for the uniform display of fonts with the interest (based on Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO) of displaying texts and fonts correctly when you visit our website. When you visit our website, your browser automatically loads the required fonts into its browser cache.

Although we regularly have these fonts on our servers, it is possible that your browser nevertheless establishes a connection to Google's servers for this purpose. In this way, Google learns that our website has been accessed via your IP address or that of your browser. Google Web Fonts are used in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offers.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font is used by your computer.

Further information on Google Web Fonts can be found at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google's privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

Google Maps
This website uses the "Google Maps" product from Google (see above) to show you our locations as conveniently as possible so that you can find us / our events quickly and easily. The legal basis for the use of Google Maps is your consent via our "cookie consent box", which regularly appears when you first call up our website, see "Cookies" above) on the basis of Art. 49 (1) lit. a DS-GVO as well as on an agreement on joint responsibility pursuant to Art. 26 DS-GVO, which can be read here: https://privacy.google.com/intl/de/businesses/mapscontrollerterms). It is technically possible that Google could identify at least individual users on the basis of the data received. It would be possible that personal data and personality profiles of users of the website could be processed by Google for other purposes over which we have and can have no influence. This and the fact that data is transmitted to the USA is problematic for data protection reasons.
The terms of use of Google Maps can be found under "Terms of use of Google Maps".
You have the option of deactivating the Google Maps service in a simple manner and thus preventing the transfer of data to Google: Either via our cookie consent box or by deactivating JavaScript in your browser for this purpose. Please refer to the instructions of your browser manufacturer to find out how this works in detail. However, we would like to point out that in this case you will not be able to use the map display.
By using this website and not deactivating the JavaScript function, you expressly declare, in full knowledge of the data protection issues, that you agree to the processing of the data collected about you by Google in the manner and for the purpose described above.

YouTube
We integrate videos from YouTube (belonging to Google, see above) into our online offer via corresponding plug-ins on the basis of your consent according to Art. 49 (1) lit. a DS-GVO, which are regularly stored on www.youtube.com and can be or are played directly from our website. These are primarily integrated in "extended data protection mode", i.e. no data about you as a user is transmitted to YouTube if you do not play the videos. Only when you play the videos will the data mentioned in the following paragraph be transmitted. We have no influence on this data transmission itself.
You give your consent by using the so-called "double-click" solution, i.e. as long as you do not click on a YouTube video marked accordingly, it will neither be played nor will data be transmitted to the YouTube servers. Only when you explicitly click on the video (again) does the streaming service start. A connection is then established to the YouTube servers in the USA and YouTube receives the information that you have accessed this corresponding sub-page of our website. This occurs regardless of whether YouTube provides a user account via which you are logged in or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in to YouTube / Google, your data will be directly assigned to your account. If you do not want your data to be associated with your YouTube profile, you must log out of your account before activating the video. YouTube stores your data as usage profiles and uses them, for example, for its own purposes of advertising, market research and/or designing its website according to needs. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to provide needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, and to exercise this right you must contact YouTube or Google.
For more information on the purpose and scope of data collection and processing by YouTube, please see their privacy policy. There you will also find further information on your rights and setting options for protecting your privacy under the current link www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.

Google Adwords / Conversion Tracking
We also use the online advertising programme "Google AdWords" as part of Google AdWords conversion tracking. Google Conversion Tracking is an analysis service provided by Google. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie for conversion tracking is stored on your end device. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days, do not contain any personal data and are therefore not used for personal identification. If you visit certain web pages on our website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we will be able to recognise that you clicked on the ad and were redirected to that page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Thus, there is no way that cookies can be tracked across AdWords customers' websites.
The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking.
This tells customers the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified. Our legitimate interest in data processing also lies in these purposes. The legal basis for the use of Google Adwords/ Conversion Tracking is § 15 para. 3 TMG in conjunction with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can object to this use by preventing the installation of cookies from the domain "googleadservices.com" through a corresponding setting in your browser software (deactivation option). You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics. Further information and Google's privacy policy can be found at: http://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/ http://www.google.de/policies/privacy/

There you will also find further information on your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy: https://www.outdooractive.com/de/datenschutz.html.

You have the right to object to processing, and you must contact Outdooractive to exercise this right. You have the right to object on grounds relating to your particular situation, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or if the processing serves the purpose of asserting, exercising or defending legal claims (Art. 21(1) DSGVO). You can deactivate or restrict the transmission of cookies by changing the settings in your internet browser. Cookies that have already been stored can be deleted at any time. This can also be done automatically. If cookies are deactivated for our website, it may no longer be possible to use all functions of the website to their full extent.
